On the Set: Day 2
Posted on Jun 3, 2014
The second day of filming started bright and early. Today, the filming included scenes that take place in the veterinarian’s office as well as at the middle school that Finn attends. We had a lot of visitors on set, including Julie Tristan of Show Me St. Louis, award-winning KSDK reporter Leisa Zigman, and Gail Pennington of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Plus, Sweetology delivered delicious treats for the Marshall cast and crew. We are extremely thankful for their interest in the film.
Furthermore, Debbie from the Humane Society of Missouri was reunited with Marshall once again. She was one of the members of the team that rescued Marshall, and it was inspiring to see and hear about the transformation of Marshall since his rescue. His influential story is a reminder to us all that good can come out of a situation in which someone makes a conscientious decision to help someone, whether it is a dog like Marshall or a child who is bullied on the school playground.
Finally, to end the day, the dog extras and Marshall’s double arrived on set! These playful companions added fun and excitement to the scenes.
The tremendous support gathered for the Marshall Movement and the unwavering dedication to spreading the antibullying ideals of the film is truly amazing.
